Application of electron spin resonance technique for high-dose $$gamma$$ dosimetry

Endo, Nobuyuki*

Wakasawan Enerugi Kenkyu Senta Dai-7-Kai Kenkyu Hokokukai Yokoshu, p.9 - 12, 2006/02

This report is experiments directed toward to establish the tool for quantitative radiation analysis using the electron spin resonance (ESR) technique. As basis research, stable free-radicals generated in calcium salt or cement powder by high dose $$gamma$$-ray irradiation were measured with ESR equipment. Stable free-radicals generated in the several samples by $$gamma$$-ray irradiation. Their sigmnal behaviour was experimentally investigated as a function of dose with $$gamma$$ rays. The stability of the ESR signal of the free radical after irradiation was investigated.
